Big 'ol sketch dump

Yeah so I have a lot of sketches that I've done, and sadly not much else. Been in a bit of drawing slump lately to be honest. I finally got around to scanning some drawings.

Old stuff

Here's some super old stuff I've had left on my desktop since who knows when?
Two of them are unfinished and even though they're like that, I still feel like I should post them.
I like and dislike a lot of what was put into these drawings. I didn't want to see them get completely forgotten so I'm posting them here.

New Gator

 Re-made my brown gator. Went with some crazy new colors and changed the design up a bit. This is just her cartoony form. I still intend to keep her usual self more bear-like as I've had it before.

Big Hippo Sprite

So I went back and remade this sprite bigger. I couldn't figure out how to re-size it without making it blurry so I just redid it. But now it might be too big...
Back to the drawing board I suppose!

Gator Sprite

Made an animated sprite last night! Its my first animated one ever. I really liked how this one turned out too. It's a little small but that's why I added a blown up picture below. I still think it reads pretty well despite its size.

Elder Sands

These guys are called Sand Shepherds. They were once deities but now they just wander the mortal plains, causing slumber and eating dreams. I didn't come up with them, my boyfriend takes credit for that but I really love the idea behind them. This is sort of a coat of arms for them. I'm still not happy about the hourglass symbol and will most likely change that. The bottom is the original.

Pig character

His caption would read, "Gonna make this hurt." Hopefully it looks like he's getting ready to punch someone. Not sure if that reads all that well. Still, I really like how this sketch turned out.

Fat Gator

I recently found a book I was looking for called The Search for Wondla. I found it in paperback which made me very happy because the hardcover version was expensive. I had forgotten how adorable the villain, Besteel looked. The book is very cool because it also features illustrations in it. It looks like a mash up of Wizard of Oz, Nausicaa, Alice in Wonderland and a touch of Lilo and Stitch. I haven't read the book yet but I'm so glad I was able to find it again. Anyway, I loved the character so much that I wanted to make a version of my gator based on him. So we now have a very fat gator.

Bunny tattoo

My best friend wants to get a bunny tattoo because his zodiac animal is the rabbit (like mine) and I asked him if I could design it for him and he said yes! So I made up a few poses and I'm going to see which one(s) he likes and we can go from there. The bunny will have flames on its ears because his element is fire (also like mine) I have this really neat birthday book that lists your element, sign and famous people who have your birthday.

I got interested in bats again recently so I've been drawing a few. They make the best scary faces.
