These guys are called Sand Shepherds. They were once deities but now they just wander the mortal plains, causing slumber and eating dreams. I didn't come up with them, my boyfriend takes credit for that but I really love the idea behind them. This is sort of a coat of arms for them. I'm still not happy about the hourglass symbol and will most likely change that. The bottom is the original.
